This is one of the pups from our first litter in February of 07 taken at about a year old. Compare it to her pic at 4 weeks old and you can see what we mean about colors and markings changing! Shadow lives not far from us, we have heard from her family that everyone who sees her remarks about how beautiful she is,..........We agree!

This is another shot of Apollo at a year old. Isn't he gorgeous? He weighs about 65 pounds. Apollo is still in our family, our daughter owns him. She is in the Navy and currently lives in Norman Oklahoma while she completes school at OU. After graduation she will go back to her Navy duties as an officer and at that point we won't get to see Apollo as often as we do now as she will be relocating. He is a mellow, loving dog who loves to play ball and frisbee and visit with all his friends at the dog park.

This is Apollo with his dad, Beau. Apollo was born from the first litter in February of 2007 and this was taken at about a year old. You can see he got his saddle from Beau, but his colors from mom Sasha. His mask is not as pronounced as Beau's, but he is a gorgeous and very laid back guy! He lives in Oklahoma with our daughter.

This is our beloved Beauregard Maximillian, Beau for short. He is an eight year old male, full AKC American Short hair German Shepherd dog. He weighs about 95 pounds, (we aren't walking as regularly as we used to!) He is Black and Silver and has very classic markings. He has a beautiful saddle and mask. He is EXTREMELY smart! We can't spell in front of him any more because he knows what we are spelling! Words like: walk, do, go, do you want, ride, car, going, bug, hurry. He is very loyal, adores the family and is hesitant with strangers. He could have been a search and rescue dog, has very keen sense of smell, good grip and chase reflexes. He loves playing ball, frisbee, swimming, and going for walks and car rides. He has been an excellent companion for our family and is especially sensitive to our 82 year old mother who has balance issues. He can sense her dizzy spells almost before she can! Again, although not OFFA certified, he has shown no signs of hip or elbow dysplacia.

This is our wonderful mama, Sasha Noelle. She is a three year old beauty who has made a fabulous mother. She is half American Shorthair and half German Longhair. Fully AKC registered. She is lively and full of energy and absolutely adores her mate, Beau. She was solid black when we got her at 8 weeks. she is commonly referred to as a bi-color, black and tan. Her hair is not as long as pure longhairs, but is long, fine and wavy. She has a sweet and loving personality, loves to chase the ball, play tug of war, and tease Beau. She weighs about 65 pounds and is on the smaller more slender side for a GSD. Although not OFFA certified, she has no hip problems and doesn't look to have any due to her size.

This precious girl was 6th in the litter and the third girl born. At birth, she weighed in at 14.7 oz and was the smallest of the litter. She still is the smallest at 6 weeks weighing in at 5 pounds 14.5 oz. Though small she has a quiet and loving personality. Don't kid yourself though, she can hold her own in the play/fight department!

This little doll is Miss Red Stripe, she is a curious and sweet girl. She looks like she will have a very pretty and classic German Shepard face mask. We'll just have to wait to find out She was the 8th pup of the litter and the youngest of the girls. She weighed 16.3 oz at birth and currently is 6 pounds 11.5 oz.................... She has moved in with her new family, James and Barbara. Miss Red Stripe will have two Pomeranian play companions. James and Barbara have 5 acres just north of San Antonio for her to run, play, and explore! We know they will all be very happy together!

Miss Pink Hearts is the 4th of the litter and second girl pup, but she is lively and loving. Her colors are looking a bit more tan than silver. You will see a couple of pics of former littermates at about a year, she will probably look like her big brother Apollo, but again, you can never tell until about 8 months! At birth she weighed 14.7 oz. tying with Stars and Stripes, but currently weighs in at 6 pounds 12 oz....................This lucky girl will be living in a lively household that matches her lively personality. Besides Mom, Dad, William (3), Bailey (2) and a 5 week old brother, she will have an Italian Greyhound for a girlfriend to play with. We are grateful she will have such a large and happy family to love and protect! Lucky too, she will be living right here in Little Elm....... Perhaps we will have a "Family Reunion" of all our pups in the area so everyone can see how the siblings look and exchange stories and training tips!

Here is Miss Pink Paws at 6 weeks old. As you can see she has grown, as a matter of fact, she is the largest of all the girls and is outweighed only by Mr. Black Paws in the litter. She is looking like the alpha female at the moment, but she is really sweet and playful. She was the first born of the litter ans a real "loud mouth" who weighed in at 19.7 oz and is currently weighing in at 8 pounds and 12.5 oz................Miss Pink Paws will be moving in with her new family on Friday, 11/7/008. She will have a mom and dad and a new older male German Shepherd companion to play with. She will be in a great new home with lots of love and attention!

This is Miss Pink Paws asleep with Nana. In our home, the pups recieve love from our mom at 82, Ron and I in our 50's, and from the kids who range between 22 and 27. We even have younger kids handle the pups as they get older as a way of socializing them.

Here is Mr. Blue Stripe at 6 weeks. He is not as brown as he appeared at birth, and his saddle has become more black. He is the eldest of the boys, second in the litter. At birth weighed 15.7 oz. and now weighs 6 pounds 1.5 oz. making him the smallest boy. Don't worry, he'll catch up!

Here is a picture at about 1 day. Blue Stripe and Black dot are asleep. Can you see how different Blue Stripes color is to the rest of the litter? He is almost brown in comparison.

Here you can see how his colors and markings are starting to show. But, it will be at least 6 to 8 months before all their final markings and color set. This guy is the youngest of the boys and the litter, he was pup number 9. At birth he weighed 17 ounces and now weighs 6 pounds 11 ounces............Although we already miss this little guy, we know that his new family is having a lot of fun with him. Luckily, he doesn't live far from us, just up on the North side of our community, so maybe we will get to see him from time to time!

See how his colors have changed already? Final markings will not appear until about 6 to 8 months old. Here at birth all the pups were almost solid black.

He is the largest of the boys and a real sweetheart! As you can see, his ears are standing and he looks like he may be black and Silver like Dad, but we have seen this color go to a darker tan as well! This big boy was the third boy and the 5th of the litter. He weighed 16.7 ounces at birth, but now is the largest in the litter at 8 pounds 15 oz.!....He has a new home in McKinney with a great family. He has a new mom, dad, big brother and sister and a wonderful shih-tzu companion to live with. He is going to be very spoiled and happy!

This is one of our four boys. We call him Black Dots. We don't name our pups, but identify them with different ribbons until they go home with their new families. He is one of two whose ears aren't standing yet. Ears are funny things in German Shepherds.....they flop like this, then stand up straight....until they begin to get their teeth, then all the calcium goes to thier teeth and their ears flop together. Once their teeth come in then the calcium can go back to building the cartlidge that makes their ears stand straight! But, boy it does make him darn cute doesn't it? This guy was 3rd in thelitter and the second male. He weighed 14.8 oz at birth and new weighs 6 pounds 3 oz.......................He will be living in Tioga in a ranch like setting with lots of space and two boys and mom and dad to love him. He will have lots of new buddy's to pal around with aside from dogs and cats there will be horses, goats, ducks, and other critters. He's going to have a wonderful new life!
